Rachel McAdams is definitely ready for her close-up.
The 35-year-old actress positively glows on the front cover of August's issue of Allure magazine, letting her flawless skin do all the talking.
Looking relaxed and flashing an easygoing smile, the Mean Girls star wears barely a scrap of make-up for her first major cover shoot in nearly two years.

Looking healthy and happy, her blue eyes sparkle and her caramel locks frame her face in soft ringlets.
She wears a cream and grey lace blouse and casually looks over her shoulder at the camera.
The cover shot comes out the same day that it was reported Rachel's Notebook co-star Ryan Gosling may be expecting his first child with girlfriend Eva Mendes.
And the news will no doubt leave fans who were hoping for a reconciliation between the on-screen and former off-screen lovers disappointed.

Last month saw the 10th anniversary the hugely popular romantic drama and with it came revelations from the film's director Nick Cassavetes.
One big revelation being that co-star Ryan, who Rachel had intense chemistry with on-screen, actually wanted the actress booted off set.
Ryan, who played hopeless romantic Noah Calhoun in the movie, asked Cassavetes to find someone else to play his love-interest Allie Hamilton.
He complained that he didn't have any 'chemistry' with the redhead who was only 25-years-old when the film was made.
Cassavetes told VH-1, 'Maybe I'm not supposed to tell this story, but they were really not getting along one day on set. Really not.'
He continued, 'Ryan came to me, and there's 150 people standing in this big scene, and he says, "Nick come here."

'And he's doing a scene with Rachel and he says, "Would you take her out of here and bring in another actress to read off camera with me?"
The director was shocked. 'I said, "What?" Then he says, "I can't. I can't do it with her. I'm just not getting anything from this."'
Although the pair had a fiery relationship during filming they ended up dating on and off for four years after it concluded.
And although things appear quiet on the romantic front for Rachel, she had rumour mills in overdrive in June when she was spotted enjoying several cozy dates with hunky actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
On June 10 the A-Listers are thought to have dined at Lugo Caffe in New York on before heading to Madison Square Garden for a boxing match between Miguel Cotto and Sergio Martinez.
A source told the New York Post's Page Six: 'They arrived together and sat next to each other. They were in deep conversation.'
Just four days earlier, Jake, 33, was joined by Rachel for an intimate dinner at Pittsburgh's Meat and Potatoes, where they are shooting the film with Lupita Nyong'o and Forest Whitaker.
However, despite rumours of a romance, other friends insist the pair are just 'friendly co-stars' researching their roles in Southpaw.
